STATEMENT
The photographs in this series are documentation of the baseball experience
at Wrigley Field, a ballpark unlike any other. On a crisp May afternoon you can climb up the
stairs from underneath the stands and into the park where the first inning is just underway and
feel as though you have walked through a loop in time. The organ plays, the cigar smoke swirls,
and the vendors sing their song up and down the aisles. Sure, there is a game being played, but
when I am there I become a spectator of the stadium itself.
